Lexi Zurheide

Lexi Zurheide grew up in Freeburg, Illinois, a small town about 25 miles southeast of St. Louis, Missouri. She first became a Certified Athletic trainer after attending Missouri State University and obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Athletic training with a minor in Biomedical Sciences. While there, she worked with several collegiate athletes in multiple different sports. She then furthered her education at the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in Miami, Florida, graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in May 2024. Her clinical experiences ranged from skilled nursing facilities to outpatient sports and orthopedics, most notably working with well-known professional athletes. Lexi’s professional interests include manual therapy, functional strengthening, athletics, and post-operative recovery. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, spending time with friends and family, and traveling whenever possible. While obtaining her doctorate, a clinical rotation brought Lexi to the Acadiana area, and she is looking forward to serving the community that she quickly grew to love.
